We stopped here for lunch on our way to South Carolina. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious and hot, prices were reasonable and the employees helpful and friendly. Great country cooking! Ask for Senior discount if eligible. We will definitely be back!

2. Ron L.

Fast service line/buffet style. Friendly staff n fresh hot Southern home cooking recipes. Everything we had to go was very good.

3. Jennifer D.

Great home cooking without the hassle. The price is very generous and the staff is even more generous. Good for the soul. Don't miss the catfish. It's the best.

4. Donald H.

Had a great breakfast. Buffet style but servers checked on you and offered refills on your drinks. Very reasonable and everything was great

These are the most friendly staff members I have come across. Cafeteria style ordering. Good food. GIANT biscuits & gravy!!! Everyone over the top helpful!! Adriana was super attentive getting us whatever we needed when seated. Feels like home. Love it!!!

6. Lori C.

Old fashion country food. I don't think the menu or decor has changed in 30 years! But it's good!

7. Paul R.

Unpretentious. Good value. Cafeteria style southern food. Seems like lots of locals. I enjoyed the chicken and dumplings.

We were visiting from California and this was our first stop. It's cafeteria style where you get a tray and go through the line and tell them what you want. Atmosphere: very casual and welcoming Service: Excellent! Waitress knew we were from out of town and welcomed us with a smile and even gave us some great facts about the town Food: Fresh and delicious. Everything was amazing. Their biscuits were the best! As well as their beans. Can't wait to go back!

I found Rabbittown Cafe through all the positive Yelp reviews. As others have already noted, this place works cafeteria-style. Line up, tell them which items you want on your tray, pay at the cashier. I arrived around 8am on a weekday with about 12+ people in line, but it still moved fairly quickly. This is straight, no frills, homestyle, Southern cooking. What makes this place great are the prices. Got a tray of country fried steak, two fried eggs, and potatoes for a little over $5. Rabbittown Cafe is definitely worth checking out if you're in the Gainesville area.
